Account Manager - Renewals - Glasgow

We have an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager for Renewals to join our Aftermarket Sales Team in Inchinnan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing area within our business and you will be responsible for overseeing the full sales process of renewing service contracts in designated territories. You will bring experience of working within a targeted sales environment, fantastic communication skills and the ability to work as part of a high performing team

THE ROLE: Our Service Organisation plays a vital part in our day to day. There is room for exceptional growth within this division, and this role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales driven individual. You will work alongside the service delivery, sales, finance and order processing teams to ensure that customer contracts are renewed in a timely manner and will also be tasked with quoting and following up with customers to grow service revenue.

Reporting to the Head of Service Sales - EMEA, responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively promoting Peak Scientific products through service plan renewals to end users and OEM markets

  • Identifying up sale and cross sale opportunities

  • Nurturing relationships with existing customers to retain loyalty whilst developing customer service opportunities

  • Keep lapsed contracts to a minimum

  • Work with OEM team to ensure that all available revenue is being worked through

  • Following up existing leads and maximising service business opportunities

  • Updating CRM with details of all customer activity

  • Managing forecast so it’s realistic surrounding renewal revenue

  • Creating sales quotations, order management and facility service/product delivery

  • Working closely with generator sales personnel and Field Service personnel in developing business leads

    THE CANDIDATE:

    With strong sales experience and experience of end user/ B2B sales, you will have organisational skills with the ability to manage and maintain large quantities of data. You will also be customer focussed, able to build relationships and gain trust over the phone/email. Experience of Microsoft Office is essential – particularly Excel and knowledge of a CRM system would be advantageous. You will be used to achieving and exceeding personal sales targets as well as contributing to team sales goals and overall growth.
