An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to make a significant contribution to the growth of this award–winning, international technology manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable and Expense Manager, you will be a highly organised individual, with experience of working within a fast-paced Accounts Payable role. Working collaboratively with all areas of the business and developing good relationships with colleagues and suppliers, will be key to success in this role.
Key Duties:

Preparing payments for UK and overseas offices

Coding, matching, registering and processing invoices
-
Preparing monthly supplier payment run and posting payments within SAP
-
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving supplier queries
-
Maintenance of creditors ledger
-
Resolution of outstanding GRNI items
-
Maintenance and direct involvement in consignment stock management process.

Be proactive in anticipating developments and identify accounts and issues that will require special attention / procedures

Handle disputed accounts and negotiate to bring supplier payment into line with agreed terms

Undertake complex reconciliations when required to agree balances due to suppliers.
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and will provide exemplary customer service at every opportunity. Other key skills include:

Strong time management and organisational skills.

Experience of working with SAP would be beneficial

Proficiency in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel

A thorough understanding of the AP finance process including reconciliations

Strong problem-solving skills, with the tenacity to resolve issues swiftly.
