Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist - USA

Reporting to our Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, this role's main purpose is to support the team in the management and collection of overdue balances. In this role, you'll be responsible for taking a proactive approach to managing and collecting debt of company debtors. 

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Working with the NAMER finance team based in US, as well as the HQ team in the UK, in order to ensure accurate accounting records and ensuring all AR functions are done for both our US and Canadian entities in a timely manner.
  • Updating accounts receivable aged debt report weekly, update comments daily and follow up with customers regarding payment to ensure company aged debt percentage remains below the required KPI target.
  • Daily monitoring, responding and actioning of our Accounts Receivable mailbox ensuring a timely response to support both external and internal customers.
  • Supporting with generating all customer invoices on a regular basis, ensuring that the appropriate tax rate is applied and charged on all invoices.
  • Reviewing and allocating of incoming payments received and investigate unallocated cash.
  • Ensuring accurate maintenance of customer accounts/records with follow up of internal refund/credit process when required.
  • Processing credit card payments for quotes and invoices.

The successful candidate will have proven relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a busy Accounts Receivable (AR) department.  You will be confident in achieving targets with the ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Excellent computer skills
  • The ability to adapt to business change within a fast-paced environment
