Reporting to the Accounts Receivable and Office Admin Supervisor, this role’s main purpose is to support the team in the management and collection of overdue balances. In this role, you’ll be responsible for taking a proactive approach to managing and collecting debt of company debtors. This role is based in our Billerica office with hybrid working.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Working with the finance team in the UK Headquarters, as well as the local US team, in order to ensure accurate accounting records, ensuring all AR functions are done in a timely manner
- Updating accounts receivable aged debt report weekly
- Researching invoice and payment inquiries and processing credit card payments for invoices
- Ensuring customer correspondence is in line with Group standards and providing an excellent customer experience
- Managing comprehensive compliance calendar of deliverables for business licenses, income, and sales tax
- Reviewing of Concur (travel and other business related) expense reports in accordance with company policy including periodic audits to ensure compliance with business policy and related sales tax requirements
- Assisting in answering main reception line and directing query to the correct department
The successful candidate will have proven relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within a busy Accounts Receivable (AR) department. You will be confident in achieving targets with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
