Business Analyst - Glasgow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to make a significant contribution to our fast-paced manufacturing company which has experienced significant growth in recent years.

Working within the Sales & Service Operations Team, this role works closely with and supports the Sales & Service Operations Manager with reporting and analysis of the Global Sales Team ensuring thorough, accurate and timely completion of all key reporting and analytical tasks.

THE ROLE: As the Business Analyst, reporting to the Sales & Service Operations Manager, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collation, reporting and reconciliation of order intake position of global sales teams with individual breakdown and accurate allocation of monthly sales figures

  • Gather and analyse sales performance data from a variety of sources

  • Ensure continuous use of the CRM system across the globe to improve pipeline, forecast and business intelligence data within the organisation

  • Learn about the overall sales cycle and provide insight and recommendations to improve the sales process, flagging areas of success and those that require focus

  • Understand the commercial and operational workings for each geographical area, including global pricing, currencies and corporate discount structures

  • Provide visibility of regional sales cycle analysis on a territorial basis through KPI’s

THE CANDIDATE:

You will be an adaptable, resilient and proactive team player with a professional nature. This is a fast-paced role, therefore, experience of working in a similar environment where analytical reporting, data manipulation, problem solving and dashboard creation skills are desirable. You will also have good interpersonal communication and have the ability to build professional relationships at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential – particularly Excel. Working knowledge of a CRM / ERP system would be advantageous, particularly SAP B1.
