Job: Business Analyst - North America

PEAK INC. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for further significant growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 60 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada. Due to continuing success and growth, we are looking for a Business Analyst to support our operations in North America.
THE ROLE: Initially this role will have a dual purpose within the NA organization. Firstly, sales support tasks that deal with incoming customer enquiries and assist the sales force with daily sales administration activities including preparing quotations, responding to RFQs and processing orders. Secondly, a business analyst role that will support several departments, including sales, service and marketing. Essentially the purpose of the business analyst is to monitor and track business performance relative to various KPIs to ensure targets are met, as well as supporting more informed business decisions.
Other key deliverables include:
- Collating, reporting and reconciliation of order intake position of North American sales and service teams with individual breakdown and accurate allocation of monthly sales figures
- Preparing quotes, processing orders, tracking sales and ensuring customer details are correctly entered into the SAP CRM & ERP system
- Providing visibility of regional sales cycle analysis on a territorial basis through KPI’s understanding the commercial and operational workings for territories including pricing, currency and discount structures
- Maintaining and enhance dashboards providing clear and accurate metrics reflecting regional sales performance
- Analyzing sales funnel and measure against target and prior year performance. Determining trends
- Ensuring continuous use of the CRM system across the region to improve pipeline, forecast and business intelligence data within the organisation
- Working closely with our sales operations team based in global headquarters (Scotland)
THE CANDIDATE: Will have a proven track record in collating, analysing and summarizing large data sets. In addition -
- Advanced knowledge of Excel essential
- A working knowledge of SAP & CRM is mandatory.
- Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics or related discipline.
