Location: Billerica, Boston MA (Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required)

PEAK INC. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for further significant growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 60 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada. Due to continuing success and growth, we are looking for a Business Analyst to support our operations in North America.

THE ROLE: The Business analyst role will support several departments, including sales, service and marketing.  Essentially the purpose of the business analyst is to monitor and track business performance relative to various KPIs to ensure targets are met, as well as supporting more informed business decisions.

Other key deliverables include:

  • Analyzing sales funnel and measure against target and prior year performance.  Determine trends related to sales rep, territory, market and product mix
  • Monitoring market performance and compare against company performance
  • Determining and tracking market share using primary and secondary research techniques
  • Performing win loss analysis and when needed conduct root cause analysis
  • Creating databases and capture market data
  • Assisting with projects to support more informed business decisions within the sales, service and marketing teams
  • Working with the marketing team report on marketing KPIs such as leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement
  • Assisting with the measurement of ROI for advertising campaigns and other key marketing activities when required
  • Monitoring cleanliness of CRM data to ensure data integrity
  • Acting as a CRM super user; responsibilities include user support and training

THE CANDIDATE:  Will have a proven track record in collating, analysing and summarizing large data sets. In addition -

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential.
  • A working knowledge of SAP & CRM is mandatory.
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics or related discipline.
  • Proactive in problem solving and able to find solutions to urgent and complex problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
