Business Analyst - EMEA - Glasgow

We’re looking for a Business Analyst - EMEA to make a significant contribution to our fast-paced manufacturing company which has experienced significant growth in recent years.

You will support the EMEA region by providing systematic analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for business performance improvement.  Working closely with Neil Robertson, the EMEA General Manager, and senior members of the EMEA team, you will develop robust analysis techniques, commercial reporting and project-based analysis to support the development of strategic plans and efficiency improvements across the entire region.

THE ROLE:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing key reports for Neil and other team members
  • Working on individual analysis projects to improve business performance and efficiency
  • Using analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives and budgeting activities
  • Developing standard EMEA dashboards to be circulated within our senior teams
  • Utilising the Peak CRM system to perform sales performance analysis – e.g. pipeline, opportunities, conversion rates, analysis, etc.
  • Understanding the commercial and operational workings for each geographical area including global pricing, currencies and corporate discount structures

THE CANDIDATE:

You will be an adaptable, resilient, enthusiastic and proactive team player with a professional attitude. You will be analytical with the ability to analyse large datasets and to write and present comprehensive reports in a clear and concise manner.

You should have relevant experience in data analytics and reporting, with proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to interpret and manipulate data a key requirement. Some working knowledge of a CRM / ERP system would be advantageous, particularly SAP B1.

You will also have strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail. With excellent interpersonal communication skills, you will have the ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
