Business Analyst - EMEA - Glasgow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst - EMEA to make a significant contribution to our fast-paced manufacturing company which has experienced significant growth in recent years.

The Sales Analyst will support the EMEA organisation to improve the overall business performance through a series of integrated and systematic analysis and reporting activities.  These will identify opportunities for improvement across the region.  The analyst will support the EMEA General Manager and senior EMEA team, through robust analysis techniques, develop commercial reporting and project-based analysis to support the development of strategic plans and efficiency improvements across the entire region.

THE ROLE: As the Business Analyst - EMEA, reporting to the General Manager - EMEA, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing key reports for the General Manager and senior EMEA team on a regular basis

  • Working on individual analysis projects to support the development of improved business performance efficiency

  • Supporting strategic initiatives and budgeting activities through analysis and reporting

  • Developing standard EMEA dashboards to be circulated with GM and EMEA senior team

  • Utilising the Peak CRM system to perform sales performance analysis as directed – e.g. pipeline, opportunities, conversion rates analysis etc

  • Supporting the consolidation of quarter end data

  • Supporting the GM and senior EMEA team during annual budgeting cycle

  • Understanding the commercial and operational workings for each geographical area including global pricing, currencies and corporate discount structures


You will be an adaptable, resilient, enthusiastic and proactive team player with a professional nature. You will be analytical with the ability to analyse large datasets and to write comprehensive reports in a succinct manner. You will also have strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail. With good interpersonal communication you will have the ability to build professional relationships at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential – particularly Excel. Working knowledge of a CRM / ERP system would be advantageous, particularly SAP B1.
