Remote/Home based North America with travel circa 50%
As Business Development Manager for our industrial markets in North America, you will be responsible for creating and managing a channel to market network to drive new sales and service strategies for our Peak Gas Generation product portfolio (I-Flow) in the Americas Region.
Reporting to our Global Business Development Manager, this role will involve working with cross-functional teams as well as forming strategic agreements with distribution partners and potential OEMs to drive commercial success, sustainable growth and deliver a customer focused solution.
Regional travel will be required to support the business including sales visits, OEM, training, and distributor interaction.
Other key deliverables include:
- Identifying key markets and developing channel to market strategies to build profitable sales growth.
- Identifying and signing up a distribution network to maximise market opportunity, and customer satisfaction, through aligned business planning and Distribution Operating Standards
- Managing new business opportunities with OEM, distributors, agents and end-users, gaining a clear understanding of customer requirements.
- Working closely with Technical Specialists to provide sales solutions and support for the channel to market to shorten sales process time whilst delivering commercial success.
- Developing a strong and sustainable sales pipeline for sales success across all sectors, including establishment and management of distributor business plans.
- Capitalising on opportunities that maximise profitability and mitigate commercial risks.
- Exceeding year on year sales quota and drive business unit profitability.
- Representing the company, and or support distributors, at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
You will have a significant track record in a similar commercial role within industrial gases / air compressor and a strong background in distributor development. Your experience will also include project-based and capital expenditure-based selling. Technically astute and with robust customer-focus, you’re a first-class communicator, influencer and relationship-builder who works collaboratively and shares information to drive success.
