Business Lead - Renewals
Location: Westford, MA, Hybrid Role (3 days onsite each week)
Estimated Compensation Details: $73,000 - $125,000 (including base salary + on-target commission earnings)

Overview
Reporting to the Sales Delivery Manager North America, the job holder will be responsible for selling and educating our existing customers on Peak Protected Service Contracts. The individual will be responsible for inside sales, supporting geographical territories within North America. The Inside Sales representative will interact with both direct end-user customers and reseller partners. Additionally, the role will directly oversee the Contract Renewals team with those team members reporting into this position. In line with Peak’s strong customer service ethos, the role will involve further development of Peak Protected customer service strategies and functions.
Key Duties:
- Lead and develop the Contract Renewals team through clear direction, performance coaching, and workload management to ensure timely and accurate renewal execution
- Drive renewal performance, overseeing pipelines, improving retention and on time connectivity
- Manage a personal territory consisting of prospects and customers across various markets including pharma, biotech, government, and academia
- Following up on leads and cold calling to establish new sales prospects, managing a pipeline and developing and delivering proposals for customers clearly illustrating Peak Scientific’s service value proposition
- Input and update customer information and sales opportunities in the SAP CRM database daily and that accuracy is maintained
- Update the ERP/CRM on a daily basis and maintain data integrity across business platforms
- Follow established procedures and best practices
- Assist with the preparation of bi-weekly forecasts for your region for the Head of Service Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing
- Monitors connect rate and prepare countermeasures when KPIs are not met
- Represents Peak Scientific at tradeshows
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- 3 or more years Inside Sales experience or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including mentoring, guiding, or supporting team members toward achieving shared goals
- Proven ability to generate and close sales opportunities in their current position
- Excellent communication and team interaction skills
- Ability to work independently and as a contributing ream member
- Customer focused – able to build relationships and gain trust
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritize as required
- Results driven, ability to manage personal and collective team targets
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to sell strategically
- Believes in the Peak proposition and can articulate the value clearly and succinctly
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM)
- College degree and work experience in a service driven industry a plus but not essential
