Digital Marketing Executive
Location: Glasgow, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Marketing Executive to become a key part of our Global Marketing Team at Peak HQ in Inchinnan, Renfrew.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for executing and reporting performance of multi-channel online marketing activities and campaigns delivering qualified opportunities for global sales teams. Working with existing and new suppliers, the successful candidate will be the contact point for online advertising partners ensuring return on investment and good value from digital marketing spend. SEO and SEM will be a primary focus for the position in generating leads for the business.
The role will also involve:
- Negotiating advertising packages with current print & digital media partners
- Managing online profiles and product information with existing and new online advertising partners
- Seeking new and innovative ways to reach our target audience online
- Enhancing keyword ranking through generating compelling SEO driven content as well as reviewing and refreshing website content and product information
- Drafting, editing and publishing articles, using company language
- Contributing to, proof-reading and updating promotional collateral such as brochures, product data sheets, and reports
- Working as part of a team creating email marketing campaigns, with targeted materials for potential and current customers
- Working closely with other members of the Peak global marketing team on local and global projects
- Reporting regularly on performance and impact of online marketing activities using web analytics and other digital toolsets
- Sharing team tasks including but not exclusively, support for internal stakeholders and customer engagement
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a digital marketing role and a proven track record of SEO driven content writing whilst providing keyword/phrase driven content for the company websites and online materials.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a good eye for detail
- Good understanding of brand message and company voice demonstrating creative thinking
- Ability to multi-task, be highly organised and interact with different stakeholders
- Full understanding of writing for targeted audiences; proof-reading; copy edits and review
- Being comfortable in briefing creative teams to collaboratively develop content
- Working knowledge of budgets and cost tracking
- Familiarity with online collaborative tools/task management systems (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Redbooth/Monday/Trello)
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation and targeted messaging
- Experience working in B2B and/or technical/scientific product marketing advantageous
