Location: Peak Scientific Brazil, São Paulo, Brazil + 60% Overseas Travel

THE COMPANY: Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market is looking to recruit a Distributor Manager for LATAM to be responsible for all Distributor Business Development in LATAM. Peak Inc. is a fast growing company, with its Brazil office located in São Paulo, with a team of around 15 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams. Currently we operate a Distributors model as the interface between Distributors and local teams in Brazil and Mexico.

THE ROLE: Reporting to the General Manager LATAM, you will be tasked with driving business growth and strategic management of our LATAM distributor network.

Your main job functions will include:

  • Preparing annual sales budgets and reports for the territories under responsibility

  • Preparing monthly performance reports and forecasts

  • Engaging with Distributors at all levels, leading the local teams in Brazil and Mexico to keep the high level of communication and support

  • Visiting distributors to develop the network and reinforce existing partnerships

  • Managing the sales process with Distributors with quotes, forecasts and ordering process

  • Preparing business plans for the territories under responsibility

  • Ensuring targets achievement

  • Reinforcing Peak LATAM Distributors Policies

  • Evaluating and implementing market strategies, including Distributor offers and discounts

THE CANDIDATE: will have the following  –

  • Extensive knowledge of Distributor Networks

  • Sales management skills: previous experience with proven records

  • Leadership: should be able to drive the team

  • Degree in Science preferably, Business Administration would be a plus

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in Spanish and English

  • Technical experience would be a plus, but not mandatory

  • Proactive and enthusiastic: passion to develop people and him/herself
