An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented ERP Analyst to join our growing HQ in Inchinnan. Reporting to our ERP Manager you will be providing global support for our new SAP S/4 HANA solution. A confident communicator, you will be liaising closely with the business to develop, support and configured tailored solutions. You will have a positive and proactive approach with a genuine focus on exceeding the expectations of internal customers across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 2nd line application support for the S/4HANA solution in line with agreed service levels and working practices.

Provide Incident/Problem management and Configuration Management support services.

Undertake the development and administration of S/4HANA including project management support for changes to systems/services ensuring a successful implementation.

Management of the change control processes, using the HEAT service desk application, ensuring it provides traceability while minimising any business impact wherever possible.

Manage implementation of systems changes, upgrades in line with the change calendar and change control processes.

Provide support/solutions for data extract and data manipulation as required by the business.

Provide a business analysis service, communicating clearly with customers, ensuring business requirements are fully documented and understood progressing approved changes though to implementation and test.

Troubleshoot and debug system issues providing resolution to business application issues providing updates as and when required.

Maintain, support and develop existing systems and applications in line with and agreed software development lifecycle (SDLC) process.

Maintain training documentation and provide training to users on application functionality.

Document test scenarios to fully test enhancements/bug fixes prior to promotion to production.

Understand SAP roadmap to assess future changes against enhancement requests made by users.
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Previous experience of ERP solutions, preferably SAP.

Good understanding of User Experience (UX) Design.

Understanding of general business practices, preferably within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Experience of all elements of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management processes.

Ability to resolve complex functional and configuration issues within SLA’s.

Able to mentor colleagues and internal customers to ensure good understanding of systems, processes, knowledge transfer and upskilling.

Proficient use of Microsoft Office products

Experience of business analytical tools and processes, including data analysis.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
