Field Service Technician - Sao Paulo

Peak Scientific is a global leader in developing innovative gas generation solutions for analytical laboratories in a wide variety of industries including life sciences, biomedical, pharma, petrochemical and environmental. And we’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Field Service Technician (Junior) to join our Service team in Brazil

In this role, you’ll provide high-quality technical support to our customers, ensuring our products perform at their best and delivering an outstanding after-sales experience.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and travelling to customer sites.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carry out installations, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs on customer equipment
  • Deliver on-site training and technical support to customers
  • Respond to customer queries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensure a “right first time” approach to service delivery
  • Complete and submit accurate service reports after each visit
  • Manage and maintain van stock and spare parts inventory
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, logistics, engineering, and production
  • Escalate customer issues where appropriate and support resolution
  • Continuously build your knowledge of our product range and technologies

What we’re looking for

  • Technical qualification in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics
  • Experience working with pressure systems or gases is desirable
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach
  • Knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, or mechanical systems would be a benefit
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (up to 90%)
  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential
