Finance Analyst - Mexico

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our vibrant team in Mexico. With a positive, pro active approach you will provide support to the local team and HQ regarding all finance processes. Implementation of local accountancy controls will be a key focus and you will bring robust experience from a similar role.

Key Duties

  • Monitor and record all financial transactions;

  • Process, audit and provide first level authorisation for all expenses;

  • Assisting in the transition of accounting and service systems;

  • Verify, record and process incoming and outgoing invoices ensuring all payments are made/received in a timely fashion;

  • Responsibility for cheque management, authorising external payments;

  • Administering our expenses system along the Office Manager and CM LATAM;

  • Complete monthly reconciliation of banking records;

  • Identify and implement process improvements;

  • Liaising with external accountants;

  • Local compliance. e.g. Insurance, Banking.

  • Understanding Import/Export process and tax requirements;
  • Stock (generators and part) accountability;

  • Prepare finance reports for local and HQ teams;

  • Control and report profitability in all processes, as sales of generators, parts and contracts.

  • Preparation and report regarding local and HQ budgets.

 

Key Skills

  • Experience in bookkeeping;

  • Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills;

  • Excellent verbal and written English;

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, especially Excel, plus experience of ERP management software;

  • Customer focussed;

  • Communication – able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing;

  • Good organizational and planning skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines;
  • Experience with accounting systems and accounting principles;

  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
