As General Manager (JAPAC Excl. China and India) – South Asia, Pacific, Korea, Japan reporting to our Global Sales Director, your remit will be to oversee and facilitate the growth of our JAPAC business units in which we hold a market leading position. Substantively this will involve business development but will also include strategic management of all business functions. You will make a significant contribution to business growth in an environment which is fast-paced, lively and perpetually challenging.  In addition to engaging with the board of directors in strategy planning whilst developing a high-performing management team, other key accountabilities include:

  • Maintaining strong relationships with and increasing sales across all channels
  • P&L responsibility
  • Developing and managing regional key OEM relationships
  • Structure development through personnel and regional offices
  • Developing new routes to market
  • Building strong internal relations with key personnel globally to ensure a collaborative approach.

Educated to Degree level with extensive commercial acumen and business development, you have an exceptional leadership track record, underpinned by experience of managing and driving a large team (30+).  With overseas experience and having delivered significant business growth, you’re highly commercially driven, with knowledge of marketing strategies, and always achieve targets and profit margins.  Resilient and effective in the face of pressure, you also have:

  • Extensive experience of operating and negotiating at senior level
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • The drive and passion to achieve success for you and your team.

You will be joining a dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of JAPAC.
