Job: Global HR Advisor – Peak Scientific                               

Location: Glasgow Inchinnan, Renfrewshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global HR Advisor to join our growing team at our HQ, Inchinnan to provide Global HR support for the UK and overseas businesses. You will be working in true partnership with the business, playing a key role in supporting our people strategy and “employee life cycle”.

Reporting jointly to our Global HR Director and Global Head of Recruitment you will provide wide ranging, flexible support to the management teams and employees globally, bringing demonstrable HR generalist experience, ideally from a manufacturing background.   You will be providing advice and assistance to the business on HR policies, procedures and legislation, therefore sound up to date knowledge of UK Employment legislation is a must.

Other key requirements of the role include:

  • Providing coaching and guidance to employees and line managers

  • Supporting line management in discipline or grievance procedures

  • Coordinating the appraisal system and processes

  • Development of training plan and training needs analysis for respective business areas

  • Adhoc Global HR projects

  • Assistance with administering pay and benefits including pension 

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in global recruitment and generalist HR experience in a global organisation as well as an understanding of overseas legislation. You will be an outstanding communicator, with evidence of achievement in a fast paced HR generalist role and experience of working with HR information systems. Skilled in both written and verbal communication, you will also possess excellent IT skills, including; MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Your other attributes will include:

  • Degree qualified with or working towards a CIPD qualification

  • Outstanding written communication skills with an analytical and methodical approach

  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to manage budgets
