Location: Glasgow, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire with some travel to overseas offices.

THE ROLE:  As Global Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for a five-strong team, with overall responsibility to manage our Global HR function, ensuring best practice and compliance with employment legislation both at home and overseas.   

You will work closely with our Operations board and Overseas Managers to drive our people strategy to ensure strong employee engagement and performance.  Designing and implementing a strategic global HR model for growth that will proactively manage day-to-day operational requirements.

You will align our culture and values by working alongside senior managers and engaging employees at all levels. 

Other key deliverables include:

  • building on our corporate and social responsibilities to ensure the company is considered a responsible employer

  • compliance, ensuring our global HR model is fit to provide worldwide coverage with knowledge of legal requirements and processes in place

  • developing a cross-functional, high-performing management team

  • developing a reward strategy

THE CANDIDATE: Degree educated, with a Chartered CIPD qualification or equivalent, you must have a proven track record in a senior generalist role, a robust grasp of HR practices and procedures, and employment law. Global experience is essential as you will be working with territories including China, USA, JAPAC Europe, LATAM.
