If you’ve answered yes to the above questions, then we’d love to hear from you because we have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on HR Business Partner to join Peak to support our NA business, based in Billerica, MA.

Reporting to the General Manager (GM) with a dotted line to the Global Head of HR, you will work in true partnership with the business, playing a key role in supporting the people strategy and “employee life cycle”, effectively providing flexible, wide-ranging operational Human Resources support to the North American region. Collaborating with the NA Management teams and employees, this role will be responsible for ensuring compliance at all times with legislation in place.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Managing payroll for region, initiating with local providers, submitting any changes required for the month and liaising with Finance colleagues through to payment approval
  • Driving recruitment for the region supporting all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Processing workers compensation claims, LOAs, Disability claims, unemployment claims, FMLA requests and employment verifications
  • Providing advice and guidance to management and employees on all people practices for region
  • Researching and updating policies, procedures, and guidelines for region
  • Contributing towards the strategy by supporting the full scope of HR activities such as performance management, total rewards, employee relations, coaching and team development
  • Partner with L&D Specialist to support and deliver all aspects of L&D delivery within NA

Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with demonstrable experience working as an HR Generalist covering the full employee life cycle. With a good level of employment law knowledge related to North America, you will be a confident and trusted business advisor to your stakeholders.

You will possess:

  • Excellent MS skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
