As Industrial Technical Specialist, reporting to our Global Business Development Manager at Peak Gas Generation, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and training of industrial resellers and OEM’s in North America. You will train and support commercial partners in person as well as remotely our i-Flow modular-expandable PSA generator product line systems.

The role will involve handling the ‘technical’ aspect of things (support for equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting) working with technical and sales teams to form successful, long-term partnerships with OEM’s and equipment suppliers.

Duties will include:

  • Assist at sites with equipment start-up and commissioning
  • Train distributor/reseller partners to become self-sufficient with equipment start-up and commissioning
  • Collaborate with Peak Gas Generation inside technical support team with a more in-field focus
  • Support transition of current install base (150-200 systems) to ensure long term satisfaction with Peak Gas Generation products and potential distributor partners
  • Travel as required to support the business including end user site visits, technical trainings and distributor interaction
  • Support the Head of Technical in creating technical drawings to provide layout/generator plans for customers and assist with the modification of iFlow stock to meet customer orders requirements.

In addition you will have an Associate’s degree or technical school background, a strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to read/follow electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams.

You will also possess:

  • Ability to train other service engineers (distributors) both on-line and in person sessions
  • A detailed understanding of pressure systems and transportable gases 
  • Hold good practical skills and a methodical approach to problem solving 
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to interface comfortably and effectively both internally and externally at all levels
