We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Service Sales Team based in Billerica MA. Reporting to the Business Lead for Service Sales, you will be responsible for selling and educating our existing customers on Peak Protected Service Contracts, with specific focus on contract renewals. As Inside Sales representative you will interact with both direct end-user customers and reseller partners. Additionally, in line with Peak’s strong customer service ethos, the role will involve further development of Peak Protected customer service strategies and functions.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing a personal territory consisting of prospects and customers across various markets including pharma, biotech, government, and academia
- Following up on leads and cold calling to establish new sales prospects, managing a pipeline and developing and delivering proposals for customers clearly illustrating Peak Scientific’s service value proposition
- Inputting and updating customer information and sales opportunities in the SAP CRM database daily and that accuracy is maintained
- Following SAP B1 and service sales best practices
- Assisting with the preparation of bi-weekly forecasts for your region for the Head of Service Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing
- Monitoring connect rate and prepare countermeasures when KPIs are not met
Key Skills:
- Proven track record in Inside Sales experience or equivalent
- Ability to manage personal and collective team targets
- Proven ability to generate and close sales opportunities
- Customer focused – able to build relationships and gain trust
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven with good time management skills.
- College degree and work experience in a service driven industry a plus but not essential
