Peak Scientific Inc., a fast-growing company specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, is looking to recruit a talented Service Account Manager. You would be joining a North American team of around 60 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada.
We are an award- winning company with our headquarters in Scotland. We have a very strong reputation in the marketplace with plans to grow significantly over the next few years. We export 90% of our sales to approximately 126 countries. We have an expanding operation in the Americas which is headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Reporting to the NA OEM Service Sales Manager, the job holder will be responsible for managing OEM key accounts, maintaining long term relationships, selling/educating our existing customers on service contracts, and maximizing sales opportunities within them. Additionally, in line with Peak’s strong customer service ethos, the role will involve further development of Peak Protected customer service strategies and functions. This would be primarily an inside sales role supporting the North America territory and will involve intermittently domestic and overseas travel. Passport required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and achieve increased OEM service sales channel through improved account management.
Act as the key interface between the OEM service sales contracts managers and Peak service/sales/Senior management.
Play an integral role in growing and developing existing clients, together with finding new business contacts and responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new OEM service sales business contacts.
Educate and sell service contracts to existing Peak customers and strategic business partners while meeting assigned targets.
Cultivate relationships with customers to ensure their needs are being met and to uncover opportunities up/cross selling.
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Write business plans for all current and opportunity OEM service sales business channels
Skills and Qualifications
3-5 years Inside Sales experience or equivalent
Ability to educate, pique interest and close sales via phone and email through various sales channels.
Have the discipline to follow up on pending opportunities/quotes and to update the CRM with up to date information, statuses, and value of opportunity/quotes.
Comfortable forecasting an active and accurate sales pipeline utilizing our CRM SAP
Proven ability to generate and close sales opportunities in their current position
Customer focused – able to build relationships and gain trust

Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritize as required
Communication – able to communicate clearly and accurately by adopting a range of styles

College degree and work experience in a service driven industry a plus but not essential
