THE ROLE: Reporting to India Service Sales Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of Service Plan Renewals/ New Business to existing Peak clients nationwide.  Additionally, in line with Peak’s strong customer service ethos, the role will involve further development of After sales customer service strategies and functions.
Responsibilities: (Broad job responsibilities – including but not limited to the following):
  • Meeting Service sales targets for order/ Invoicing /collection
  • Proactive sales of service plan renewals / New Business to ensure retention of existing / new service revenue from end user, OEM and distributor in assigned territory.
  • Implementation of Company Process for Service Sales & aligned with the SOP.
  • Manage complete quote to cash process and update in CRM.
  • Invoicing & Collection to be done on monthly basis.
  • Credit & Discount Policy to be implemented to maintain the cash flow
  • Travelling, Meeting and assisting (where necessary) customers for developing relation and managing sales of service plans in assigned territory.
  • Key Account Management
  • Nurturing relationships with existing customers to retain loyalty whilst developing customer service opportunities.
  • Updating CRM system SAP with all relevant customer information and orders
  • Identification of up-sale and cross sale opportunities
  • Forecast – monthly basis & rolling forecast to be submitted on quarterly basis, Funnel Management, Inquiry generation & lead generation.
  • Daily call reporting – Courtesy calling for taking customer feedback.
  • Working closely with Peak service departments – Service Delivery to organize the facilitation of maintenance contracts.
  • Maintaining records of generator locations and warranty registrations.
  • Candidate is expected to travel approx. 20-25% of the time within the region to manage key account customers.
THE CANDIDATE:
The candidate should have:
  • Experience in end user and/or business to business sales and sales process
  • Customer focused – able to build relationships and gain trust.
  • Able to manage relationships and team working
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritize
  • Communication – verbal & Written - able to communicate clearly and accurately by adopting a range of styles
  • Language - Fluency in English, Telugu & Tamil preferred as role involves extensive interaction with South India customers
  • Resilience – remains effective in the face of pressure
  • Results driven, ability to manage personal and collective team targets
  • Graduate/ Diploma in Science / commerce (B.com) (Having PG in Science / Commerce/ Business is added advantage)
  • At least 3 years of Experience in sales / 1-3 years of inside sale with direct experience of handling contract business / payments will be added advantage
