Inside Sales Specialist - FlexFlow - Massachusetts

The Inside Sales Specialist role will be responsible for driving our brand new gas subscription service – FlexFlow .  This new and innovative gas subscription service has the potential to transform the way our scientific customers are supplied with gas.

Working alongside our sales team, and reporting to the North American Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales, meeting and exceeding targets and driving growth of the FlexFlow business across the entire territory.

What will I do?

  • Conducting cold calls, prospecting and qualifying account opportunities
  • Developing a pipeline of new opportunities utilizing sales tools to build and gather sales opportunity intelligence while closing existing opportunities
  • Creating and communicating the value of Peak Scientific and our FlexFlow solution with prospects and clients
  • Identify and create a business need for FlexFlow with executive decision makers in the scientific organization
  • Developing detailed territory plan(s) for the FlexFlow business and industry strategies to maximize account penetration
  • Working closely with Peak territory managers to follow up on quotes, prospect and support their local plans.
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as and when required and responding to situations as they arise without supervision
  • Clearly convey key information to customers and coworkers through oral and written communication
  • Determining project urgency by managing and closing existing deals while cultivating new opportunities
  • Maintain an effective working relationships with global sales personnel to drive results

What Skills do I need?

  • Self-starter, energized and tenacious in approach 
  • Inside Sales experience or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to generate, qualify and close sales opportunities in their current position.
  • Customer focussed – able to build relationships and gain trust.
  • Able to develop & manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and enjoy being part of team.
  • Self-motivated and driven with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritise.
  • Results driven, ability to manage personal targets and goals
  • College degree and work experience in a service driven industry a plus but not essential.
  • Work experience in the scientific (or related) industry with LC/MS, GC/MS experience a plus but not necessary
