Peak Scientific, the award-winning, International Technology Manufacturing Company is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Service Sales team. Due to continued global expansion, we are recruiting for a talented individual to begin their career in inside sales at our North American Headquarters in Billerica, MA.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing team within our business and you will be responsible for managing the sale of service plans to our existing customer base. You will bring with you a willingness to achieve and an appetite for success. Ideally, you will have the experience of working within a Customer Service environment, potentially having some sales experience (although not required), fantastic communication skills and the ability to work as part of a high performing team.
Our Service Organization plays a vital part in our day to day business and is responsible for 1/3 of the total sales revenue of the company. There is room for exceptional growth within this division, and this role presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual.
Reporting to North American Service Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Effectively selling and promoting Peak Scientific service products through service plans
Identifying any upselling and/or cross selling opportunities
Following up existing leads and help to maximize service business opportunities
Creating and nurturing of relationships with existing customers to preserve brand loyalty while developing customer service opportunities.
Updating company customer relationship management system with all relevant customer information and orders
Creating sales quotations, and aiding in the order management processes
With a strong desire to deliver an exceptional customer service experience by being customer focussed, you will be able to build relationships and gain trust over the phone/email. You will also have strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Experience of Microsoft Office is essential – particularly Excel. Previous sales experience and knowledge of a CRM system would be advantageous, but not a requirement.
