Are you ready to play a pivotal role in driving innovation and change within a dynamic engineering environment? We’re looking for a proactive Integration Engineer to join our Engineering Support team and help bring new products and engineering changes to life across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Integration Engineer, you’ll be the bridge between Design, Manufacturing, and key business functions like Procurement, Production, Quality, and Service. You’ll ensure engineering changes and new product introductions are smoothly integrated, keeping projects on track and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs)
- Modify existing products using 2D/3D CAD
- Create and distribute CAD drawings for suppliers
- Generate 3D models of generators and components
- Maintain component models and Bills of Materials
- Manage part numbers and ERP system data
- Troubleshoot and correct design faults
- Provide technical support across departments
- Produce reports from the parts database
- Ensure compliance and upkeep of Engineering Stores
- Support production to meet dispatch deadlines
- Mentor Associate and Apprentice Engineers
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- Proficient in PDM database management
- Skilled in creating and maintaining technical drawings
- Strong understanding of sheet metal design and pneumatic systems
- Sound knowledge of sheet metal design and fastening methods
Skills & Qualifications:
- HNC or higher in Engineering or CAD discipline
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with a “can-do” attitude
