As Key Account Manager - Service Sales, you will be responsible for identifying and growing relationships with our key channel partners for Service. Direct sales of service products, within our high value key accounts across North America, will be central to success within this role.

Working alongside our key accounts team in the UK, and reporting to the Service Sales Manager (North America), you will be responsible for exceeding sales targets and driving growth of our key accounts.

What will I be doing?

  • Prospecting and developing productive relationships with key personnel on assigned customer accounts
  • Developing a pipeline of new opportunities utilizing sales tools to build and gather sales opportunity intelligence while closing existing opportunities
  • Growing account value by coordinating and reporting OEM account activities with responsible HQ account rep.
  • Using our CRM system to closely monitor your customers’ performance and quickly identify any changes to sales activity or buying trends
  • Facilitating channels for data retrieval to assist with account growth and market intelligence
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as and when required and responding to situations as they arise without supervision
  • Determining project urgency by managing and closing existing deals while cultivating new opportunities
  • Maintain an effective working relationships with global sales personnel to drive results

What skills do I need?

  • Self-starter, energized and tenacious in approach 
  • Inside sales/account management experience or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to generate, qualify and close sales opportunities in their current position.
  • Customer focussed – able to build relationships and gain trust.
  • Able to develop & manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and enjoy being part of team.
  • Self-motivated and driven with the capacity to plan time effectively & prioritise.
  • Results driven, ability to manage personal targets and goals
  • College degree and work experience in a service driven industry a plus but not essential
  • Work experience in the scientific (or related) industry, would be beneficial but not essential
