Management Accountant
Location – Frankfurt

At Peak International Group are seeking a Management Accountant to join our EMENA Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key financial reporting, control and compliance activities across multiple entities while supporting the continued growth of our business throughout the EMENA region.
The Role
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across selected EMENA entities. You will play a key role in month-end processes, financial controls, forecasting, compliance activities and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, you will help ensure financial accuracy, support informed business decision-making and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic finance projects. This role reports directly to the Head of Finance, who is based at our global headquarters in Glasgow, Scotland, therefore there will be some travel to Glasgow as well as other EMENA offices.
Key Responsibilities

Own month-end accounting activities for selected EMENA entities.

Prepare management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary to support business performance reviews.

Support statutory accounts preparation, VAT returns, tax compliance and local regulatory requirements.

Maintain balance sheet integrity through robust financial controls and reconciliation processes.

Support forecasting, budgeting, pricing activities and ad hoc finance projects.

Collaborate with local advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and process effectiveness.

Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting quality and operational efficiency.

Support strategic and operational finance projects across the region.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic international environment. You combine strong technical accounting skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Essential Skills & Experience

Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Strong management accounting and month-end reporting experience.

Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls and general ledger accuracy

Confident using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, enhance analysis and support informed decision-makin

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to work unsupervised

Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful financial commentary and variance analysis.

Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems.

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Confident working with stakeholders across different functions and locations.
Desirable

Experience supporting multiple legal entities or international finance operations.

Experience working with ERP systems.

SAP experience.
