Are you an experienced Management Accountant who wants to make a significant contribution to the growth of this award–winning, international technology manufacturing business?
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will produce management accounting reports on both current and forecasted financial positions, providing quality in-depth insight and analysis. You will also support the Senior Management Accountant in the day to day support of all finance functions across several group entities (end to end process). Key duties include:
- Preparation of statutory financial statements;

Responsible for general ledger accounting for several group entities;

Ensuring the accuracy of turnover recorded though analysing order and delivery through to invoice and cash;

Providing cost accounting and inventory analysis on period by period basis;

Preparation of budgets and review of budget proposals;
-
Providing financial support to the different departments within the company;
-
Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations;

Preparation of ancillary returns including VAT, EC Sales List and Intrastat;

Preparation of information required for UK and overseas tax returns, including liaison with external tax advisers;

Responsible for liaising with external advisors on the UK R&D tax claim;

Responsible for overseas office compliance work.
Our ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with solid experience of producing good quality management reporting packs with in-depth insight and analysis, as well as possess the following:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships;

Attention to detail and accuracy is essential;

Proactive/Self-Starter with the initiative to drive things forward and a proven track record of challenging existing processes and implementing more efficient and effective procedures

Highly motivated with a delivery focus and the ability to balance conflicting requirements;

Adaptable to business change and a fast-paced environment with a growth agenda;

Knowledge and working experience of ERP systems (SAP would be beneficial)

Experience working within a global and/or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
