An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Communications Executive to make a significant contribution to the growth of our award–winning, international technology manufacturing business.
 
THE ROLE: Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for booking and executing advertising, handling PR including written content creation and copywriting support for other collateral, as well as managing the company social media channels and championing internal communication channels.
 
Key Tasks:
  • Responsibility for the planning and writing of communications collateral, including editorial planning, writing and seeking copy from internal stakeholders; editing, proofing and publishing as required.
  • Negotiating advertising packages with current print and digital media partners and seeking new advertising opportunities.
  • Developing compelling, customer centric communications for the Company website and social media.
  • Drafting, editing, and publishing articles, social media and internal announcements, using company language, tone of voice and style.
  • Proof-read and contribute to promotional collateral such as brochures, product data sheets, reports and other marketing collateral.
  • Scheduling and developing innovative content that supports brand social media channels and strategies.
  • Working closely with other members of the Peak global Marketing team on local and global projects.
  • Populate and champion use of internal communications site.
  • Reporting on performance and impact of advertising and social media activities.
  • Assist with meeting the internal demand for marketing support from our sales channels via the helpdesk (shared within the team).
  • Assist with website customer live chat inquiry handling (shared within the team).
     
THE CANDIDATE: You will be a creative thinker with a good eye for detail and wordplay, and have experience of creating captivating marketing content. With strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload, you will be able to multi-task, prioritise and plan ahead. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to build relationships at all levels, as well as being self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines. You will also possess the following;
  • Familiarity with online collaborative tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Redbooth or Trello)
  • Experience working in B2B and/or technical product marketing would be advantageous
  • Excellent knowledge of social media marketing, brand message and Company voice
  • Full understanding of writing for targeted audiences; proof-reading, copy edits and review
  • Working knowledge of budgets and cost tracking
  • Knowledge of customer segmentation and targeted messaging.
