Noblegen, was acquired by Peak Scientific in February 2024 and is a highly experienced manufacturer of specialist gas and cryogenic generators which are both sustainable and cost-effective solutions for industries requiring liquid nitrogen, with customers active in industries including cryogenics, animal husbandry, medical and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), Noblegen is skilled in providing robust and varied solutions to meet the demands of a wide range of applications.
Reporting to the LATAM Marketing Manager, the job holder will be responsible for ensuring that liquid nitrogen sales targets are met and exceeded as well as maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with existing customers.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Manage and develop the business with end-users;
- Provide sales advice and support for customers to assist them to purchase our liquid nitrogen generators solutions that fulfil their requirements;
- Examine and identify the key regions within the territory and devise an action plan along line manager;
- Utilise all available tools to develop the customer base and grow the business;
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and e-mails;
- Arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;
- Respond to incoming e-mails and phone enquiries from customers in a timely and appropriate manner;
- Act as a key point of contact between the company and its existing and potential markets;
- Actively identify new sales opportunities;
- Negotiate the terms of a sales agreement, ensuring agreed profit margins are maintained;
- Working along marketing department, gathering market and customer information;
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations as and when required;
- Negotiate on delivery and specifications with other departments including engineering, marketing and production;
- Ensure products are in stock or customer timescales can be realised and achieved;
- Ensure a record of sales, order information and customer contact details are input into the appropriate CRM;
- Review your own sales performance to ensure targets are achievable and escalate to management where there is a risk on non-achievement;
- Ensure you gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
- Ensure customers are provided with accurate and timely quotations;
- Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Quick to learn new skills;
- Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines;
- Good communication skills;
- Advanced English language;
- Able to interface comfortably and effectively both internally and externally with a broad spectrum of personalities;
- Customer focused;
- Ideally sales experience in scientific industry;
- Degree in Science
- Ability to adapt to and communicate well with difference customer mix and cultures;
- A strong business and commercial acumen;
- Excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to develop relationships.
