THE COMPANY
Peak Inc. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for significant further growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 50 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada. Peak Scientific is a global leader in gas generation for analytical laboratories, operating worldwide with sales in over 120 countries and offices in every continent.
POSITION
Reporting directly to the Service and Operations Manager - North America, you will be an experienced Sales Manager with demonstrated success driving both internal and external service or product sales, hold the development responsibility for identifying, planning and executing the opportunities to enhance service contract offerings for the business. Your experience in key account management, tactical planning, and ability to identify and seize potential opportunities will be essential. This position is also responsible for developing the parts sales as well as improving tracking of service revenue metrics.
In addition, you will be responsible for -
- Growing service sales revenue in line with business expectations
- Achieving or exceeding assigned sales goals by developing action plans and performing competitive analysis to identify and grow service sales prospects
- Developing an appropriate structure to facilitate the sale of service contracts and spare parts across the USA and Canada
- Developing relationships and work with OEMs and Key Accounts at a management level ensuring processes are in place to maximise contract sales
- Monitoring market requirement in all territories ensuring suitable service products and pricing policies are in place
- Managing the Service Sales team whilst working closely with end users to ensure sales are maximised at all times
- Reporting monthly sales performance, whilst focusing on pipelines, closing ratios and average discount analysis
- Providing recurring and frequent sales forecasting data and reports
- Monitoring growth trends and adding additional structure/resource where necessary.
THE CANDIDATE
Educated to degree level you must have customer facing experience from the service sector, with relevant industry experience (B2B).
You will also have:
- a proven track record of managing and achieving sales targets
- knowledge of aftermarket products & services
- strong project and team management skills
- experience of implementing aftersales revenue strategies
