THE ROLE:  As N&E European Sales Manager, reporting to our EMEA General Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day commercial leadership and management of Northern Europe and Eastern Europe (EEU, CIS & Russia) generator sales teams - continuing to deliver and drive sales growth across the entire region via both direct and indirect channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable generator sales performance across territory (in both scientific and in future Industrial & other gas generation sales)
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of strategic business plans for each territory to deliver sustainable & profitable growth for each business unit across the territory
  • Implement infrastructure and rigorous commercial management across the region to support the sustainable growth of the business
  • Contribute and play a key role of the EMEA leadership team
  • Work alongside peers (such as Head of Service Sales for EMEA, Service Delivery Manager EMEA etc) to deliver a united and collaborative approach to deliver commercial and service excellence success across the entire region.
  • Perform Market intelligence activities to ensure we are exploiting opportunities competitively
  • Ensuring best practices are established and implemented across territory, including –
  • Sales and data best practice management
  • Sales process, CRM etc.
  • Pricing and discount control and management
  • On-going investment and development of robust channel management
  • Product positioning and sales
  • Budget formation and management
  • Management of Key Accounts (where applicable) and key OEM relationships

THE CANDIDATE: You will have a multi-faceted skill set and demonstratable evidence as a competent commercial leader and manager.  Experience of working across the EMEA region, territories, channels and cultures.  Commercially astute, able to develop strategic and sustainable plans and execute on them to deliver commercial results. Preferably familiar/experience of scientific / gas market.
