Our team in North America, headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts, seeks a qualified OEM & Channel Partner Manager to serve as a front-line leader to our key laboratory instrument partners and laboratory products distributors within the region. As channel manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and strengthening partner relationships while developing activities that lead to incremental revenue opportunities within multiple existing partner accounts as well as targeted new business accounts.
Peak Scientific is a fast-growing company specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market. As the OEM & Channel Partner Manager, you will be joining a North American team of around 80 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada. We are an award- winning company with our headquarters in Scotland who export 90% of our sales to approximately 126 countries.
Main job functions will include:
- Work alongside the Global KA team and Regional sales team to develop strategies to grow Key Accounts and OEMs in North America
- Support the development and negotiation of commercial agreements to ensure competitive advantage and sales growth in line with business expectations.
- Identify new sales channels in line with strategic initiatives, including catalog resellers, government distributors and instrument partners not presently under agreement.
- Serve as front line point of contact to assure excellent communication path between key accounts supporting departments.
- Travel commensurate with account support, industry trade shows and other relevant events is required.
Key Skills & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have proven relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the laboratory products and services market. You will be confident in achieving revenue targets with the ability to work to tight deadlines. Position will be based remotely in the region, ideally near a major airport.
You will also possess:
- Bachelor of Science in business or related scientific discipline
- MBA a plus
- 5+ years in related experience
- Excellent interpersonal, team working, communication and presentation skills
- The ability to adapt to business change within a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills
- An understanding of leading laboratory instruments preferred
