OEM Key Account Manager - Glasgow

We have an exciting new opportunity for an OEM Key Account Manager to join our team in Inchinnan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to Join a dynamic global team and contribute to the development & growth of Peak’s key OEM partners. This position will involve managing & supporting individual accounts, with focus on day to day operational aspects, and ensuring strongest possible relationships to deliver growth together.

THE ROLE: Within this role, you will be the primary point of contact and liaison between Peak and our OEM’s on a global scale for smooth and successful operational month-to-month business. This will include forecasting, new product transitions and excellent overall customer experience.

As the OEM Key Account Manager, reporting to the Senior OEM Key Account Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Fully understanding and monitoring current Peak business with assigned OEM customer organisations globally, providing a consolidated view of the commercial relationship
  • Managing up-to-date forecasting of OEM corporate sales demand, working closely (daily, weekly) with the Global Sales Order team and Operations/Planning and global logistics team at HQ to ensure capacity to deliver and meet customer expectations
  • Build/maintain relationships with OEM customers based on trust, responsiveness & sense of being a real business partner
  • Providing monthly reporting on KPIs for OEM(s), including equipment sales, service sales, escalations, global install base and financial
  • Ensure SLA’s and contractual obligations are met with respective OEM partners
  • Managing enquiries/escalations & business requests from internal & external customers, ensuring timely & effective resolutions

THE CANDIDATE: You will have previous experience in a key account management or global business development role and be technically and commercially capable with a high degree of initiative. You will display strong interpersonal skills, be a team player and display excellent communication skills. As someone who is results-oriented, you will be able to focus on key objectives as well as develop strategies to develop strong client relationships and business opportunities. An understanding of the global analytical instrument market and relevant industry dynamics is desirable.

  • Educated to Degree Level or have equivalent relevant experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Be a self-starter and motivator

  • Experience in influencing at senior management level

  • Strategic/lateral thinker & problem solver

  • Able to work in a team as well as being independent

  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel & PowerPoint
