An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Logistics Officer to join Peak Scientific, a fast–growing, global company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market.
Reporting to the Global Logistics Manager, the key duties of the Operational Logistics Officer will include:

Administer import / export documentation to ensure the on-time delivery and regulatory compliance of goods.

Administration of Inward Processing (Relief)

Facilitate the movement of consigned materials at OEM customers and materials within Peak Supply Chain.

Monitor overdue deliveries taking remedial actions.

Analyse and support the corrective action to slow moving inventory and product returns
-
Administration of SAP supply chain data, principally Vendor Creation, Info Records, Shipping, Scheduling Agreements and Material Master.

Manage ad-hoc purchase orders supporting the release of MRP Purchase Requisitions.

Administration of Logistical Non-Conformities (SAP QM Notifications) through to successful resolution.

Prepare data and report metrics to improve operational efficiencies.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
-
Experience of Import / Export – HRMC / Custom regulations.

Inward Processing
-
CILT, BIFA, CIPS, or equivalent
-
3 years’ experience within a logistics/supply chain environment or equivalent
