Peak Scientific Inc. a fast-growing company specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, is looking to recruit a talented Product Training Specialist to join the team in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Reporting to the Market Development Manager - Service and indirectly to the Service & Operations Manager, North America, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of technical training courses to internal stakeholders, distributors and OEMs from Billerica HQ and Peak global training centers. This role will involve occasional overseas travel.
Other key tasks:

Technical support for the sales and service teams including assisting at site visits or seminars and exhibitions

Development and maintenance of creative training materials for our service and sales teams, including liaising with design and manufacturing teams on product changes

Supporting field service engineers and territory managers as required.

Monthly reporting, detailing training activities and customer visits

Provision of in house training for new staff, including IT, expenses and SAP.
Skills required:

Genuine enthusiasm and motivation to bring technical content alive to a wide range of audiences

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Good understanding of all basic engineering techniques with the ability to learn new technologies and how our products interface with customers’ applications

A creative edge allowing you to develop innovative training plans and materials

Ability to drive a program from start to finish, manage change and provide practical hands -on support as required

Ability to organize own work schedule to agreed targets over a geographically dispersed area.

High levels of literacy with MS WORD, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
