Due to continued growth, we are looking for QC Technicians to join our Quality team at Peak HQ in Inchinnan, Renfrew. Reporting to the Lead QC Technician, you will be responsible for the application and execution of Quality Control tasks and standards, in line with our company procedures. You will be involved in the physical inspection and recording of inspection results, complying with Peak’s quality control processes to implement our Quality Standards.
Duties will include:
- Physically inspecting in-coming material goods and final generator build to set Peak standards
- Inspecting results to be recorded in PEAK systems/software maintaining an accurate record of the inspection and communicating with engineering and operations with respect to faults found
- Processing of non-conforming material
- Reworking, where possible, minor defects to correct non-conforming material, achieving PEAK Quality standards
- Maintaining calibration certificates for all test and measurement equipment and maintain validation of operation
- Training other team members
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year’s relevant QC experience and ideally with a proven track record using measurement instruments, such a digital callipers, pressure gauges or flow meters.

- A fast learner with excellent communication skills
- Able to interpretate and apply product standards
- Self-motivating and a team player
- Willing to embrace new challenges within a growing company
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of MSWord and Excel
- Someone with an awareness of Technical Drawings and specifications
