Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore with travel

Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing global company specialising in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the chemical analysis, life science and biomedical market is looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to assist in the management of our Sales process in Central & South India.

We have an expanding operation in India, having recently celebrated our 10 Anniversary, headquartered in New Delhi as well as offices in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

THE ROLE: As Regional Sales Manager, reporting to the Head of Sales for India and South Asia, this role will be based in Hyderabad/Bangalore and will involve extensive travel in the assigned territory. 

Accountable for all sales activities, from lead generation through to close in an assigned territory. Develops and implements agreed upon Business Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer sales in the assigned geography. Works with the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company business strategy.

Further Responsibilities will include - 

  • Managing a team of 3 or more Territory Sales In-charge and distributors for the achievement of sales goals within assigned states.
  • Delivery of monthly and quarterly orders and sales forecast
  • Market penetration ensuring all products are visible in the targeted segment
  • Tracking competitive activities and implementing counter measures to ensure Peak Scientific’s continued leadership in the gas generator market
  • Represent and develop strong relationships with OEM manufacturers.

THE CANDIDATE: You must have Science/Engineering degree with a proven 7+ years sales management track record, with experience in selling scientific/analytical instrumentation. You’re also confident and credible, with the gravitas to engender the respect of customers and colleagues, locally and remotely.  An excellent all-round communicator and relationship-builder with real commitment to teamwork, you’re especially results-driven, with a clear ability to develop strategies. Strong communication skills are essential as well as Microsoft Office skills.
