THE COMPANY: Peak Inc. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for significant further growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 55 staff, including dedicated sales and field service engineer teams covering the whole of mainland US and key territories in Canada.

THE ROLE: As Regional Sales Manager reporting to the Sales Manager for North America, you will be overall responsible for the following –

  • All sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory and oversight in assigned region.
  • Developing and implementing upon agreed Business Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer sales in the assigned geography.
  • Working within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company business strategy.

Further key accountabilities include:

  • Managing up to 5 Territory Managers and Manufacturers Reps/Distributors for the achievement of sales goals within assigned states as well as your own sales territory.
  • Prospecting and cold calling to establish new customers by managing a sales pipeline and developing and delivering proposals to customers by illustrating Peak Scientific’s value proposition.
  • Maintaining an accurate sales forecast for the assigned territory and region.
  • Selling consultatively, detailing products, determine customer needs and requirements, and makes recommendations of the various solutions we can offer their business.
  • Building and sustaining relationships with customers and ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Representing and developing strong relationships with OEM manufacturers.
  • Working with the Sales Manager to develop strategic territory business plans for achievement of sales growth and quota attainment.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • College Degree
  • 5+ Years Sales Experience with a track record of successful sales performance, preferably in the relevant industry/market.
  • Business to Business Sales Experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Experience of using a CRM system essential, as well as Microsoft office, especially Excel.
