Sales Analyst - Glasgow

We’re delighted to be recruiting a Sales Analyst to make a significant contribution to our award–winning, global technology manufacturing business here at Peak Scientific.

Reporting to the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in our Head Office, you will bring a solutions-driven approach to the responsibility of collecting, analysing and reporting of sales related data in a continuous effort to increase overall sales productivity. You will play a pivotal role in the development and tracking of key performance indicators, critical to enhance the understanding of the business to improve decision making.     

Your duties will include:

  • Working with the Global Sales and Service teams regularly, to ensure accurate reporting of global sales intake numbers
  • Creating reporting dashboards and conducting quantitative and qualitative sales analysis
  • Providing bespoke reports and analysis of specific sales data across Global teams
  • Collaborating with global sales managers to ensure timely and accurate forecasting of sales and opportunity pipeline
  • Demonstrating a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes whilst supporting the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to underpin best practice and governance throughout
  • Working with colleagues to evaluate and enhance future development of CRM and automation of reporting functions

You will be an Excel wizard with experience of working in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will ideally be educated to Degree level or equivalent experience, preferably in a business-related field would be desirable.

You will also possess:

  • Ability to be comfortable and credible in reviewing and analysing prospective sales data
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to understand wider scope and impact of business decision making
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, escalate issues appropriately, and keep information confidential
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office and a knowledge of SAP B1 would be helpful
