Sales Executive - Sao Paulo

Peak Scientific, a fast-growing organization specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, is looking to recruit a talented Sales Executive to join our vibrant team in São Paulo.

We are an award winning company with our headquarters in Scotland. We have a very strong reputation in the marketplace with plans to grow significantly over the next few years. We export 90% of our sales to approximately 126 countries. We have an expanding operation in LATAM with offices in São Paulo and Mexico. Individuals who fit our culture and values will have a high degree of professionalism but appreciate our non- corporate feel in a fun atmosphere.

Reporting to the General Manager – LATAM, you will be responsible for managing and developing the business with Peak’s OEM, distributors and end-users. 

With a strong track record in solution sales and a clear history of managing and achieving targets/profit margins, you will have extensive knowledge of Brazilian markets from a scientific industry, combined with strong customer facing skills. International sales experience would be a benefit as supporting relationships with our end users, is key to success in this role.

Key duties will include:

  • Business Development – developing the customer base across OEM accounts, distributors and end users

  • Develop and nurture customer relationships via all mediums, providing sales advice and support for customers/OEMs to assist them throughout the sales process, including negotiating new contracts.

  • Strategic Planning – examining key regions within the territory and devising an action plan

  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations as and when required

  • Negotiating on delivery and specifications with other departments including engineering, marketing and production

  • Advising customers/OEMs on forthcoming product developments

  • Ensuring sales records, order information and customer database is updated (CRM).

  • Performance Management – manage own sales performance with a pro-active approach to reporting.

With advanced English language skills and demonstrable sales experience within a scientific industry, you will also possess:
