THE COMPANY: Peak Scientific Instruments, a fast–growing, global company specialising in the design, manufacture and support of laboratory gas generators predominately for the life science market. We have been developing award-winning gas generation products since 1997 and now employ 480 people globally in 20 international offices.

Due to continuing success and growth, we are looking for a Sales Executive, Singapore to support our operations in Singapore and South East Asia. Peak Singapore was established in 2012 and currently has a team of 11 employees. 

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Executive, Singapore will be responsible for:

  • Intensive prospecting, developing and growing the business in assigned territory
  • Attaining and exceeding sales targets and KPI’s as set
  • Creating, developing and maintaining a healthy sales funnel
  • Supporting customer throughout the pre-sales process in a timely manner
  • Effective business negotiation
  • Relationship development with Key Accounts and end customers
  • Developing a strong working relationship with Sales Support Administrator based in Singapore
  • Supporting and contributing to the development of other business functions, including service sales and operations
  • Providing Monthly Sales Report to Sales Manager
  • Undertaking local Marketing support as and when required

THE CANDIDATE:

You will be a conscience person with a proven successful sales track record holding a relevant degree related to the industry. Extensive knowledge of Singapore Scientific / Analytical Instrumentation market combined with strong customer facing skills is essential.

An excellent technical and commercial problem-solver with highly-developed business acumen, you are a tactful but rigorous negotiator and strategic planner, able to cover your extensive territory very effectively.  

You will also possess the following:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work in a team and to build strong professional relationships at all levels
  • An enthusiastic, proactive approach with a professional nature; you will have the ability to learn quickly and work timeously with a willingness to take responsibility and ownership of multiple tasks
  • Great self-motivation, with exceptional time management skills along with the ability to properly prioritize tasks.
  • Resilient with the ability to remain effective in the face of pressure
