Sales Operations Administrator - Glasgow

As part of the Sales Orders Team, the primary purpose of these roles are to support the lead to order process for Generators, Maintenance Contracts and Service Spares orders. To excel in these roles, you will be a pro-active individual with a great eye for detail and the ability to develop strong relationships with a variety of global teams.

Your duties will include:

  • Smoothly managing the daily generator, contract and service spares orders contributing to accurate and timely processing of purchase orders
  • Developing strong knowledge and understanding of company pricelists, ensuring correct pricing and discount parameters have been applied and policies adhered to
  • Working in line with global and corporate pricelists across key accounts and multiple currencies throughout the Peak network
  • Collaborating with global offices and developing close working relationships across internal departments such as Sales, Service, Product Management, Planning, Logistics and Finance
  • Liaising daily with the global sales and service team ensuring the accuracy of purchase order information
  • Communicating any quotation, pricing or process discrepancies to sales person prior to order entry flagging any areas of concern

The successful candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Order Processing and SAP experience is preferred, particularly working knowledge of SAP B1 - strongly desirable. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills who will thrive in a fast paced working environment.

  • A willingness to take responsibility and ownership of multiple tasks driving through to completion
  • The ability to problem solve and find solutions to urgent requests and challenge discrepancies where necessary
  • A flexible and committed approach, with a desire to meet team KPI’s and company objectives
