As Sales Support Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sales Support department. The newly developed role will lead, manage, and direct all customer service activities, supporting customers, both internal and external, throughout the sales process. The role is also responsible developing and refining Sales Support processes and maintaining the integrity of SAP B1 data. You will manage a team of specialist ensuring work objectives and KPIs are achieved while actively seeking to develop the skills and capabilities of the team.

Other key accountabilities include:

  • Develop and implement standard work processes; map current work processes and determine if there is opportunity for refinement.  Roll out improvements to increase efficiencies within the team and improve business practices.
  • Develop Sales Support team to fully support the sales representatives (and customers) with their attainment of the annual sales targets.
  • Efficiently manage the quoting and order acknowledgement process including creation of inter-company POs and working with 3PP.
  • Manage the Sales Support telephone system, monitor response time & effectiveness against predetermined KPIs.
  • Develop and cross-train the Sales Support team to develop competencies and accommodate staffing fluctuations.
  • Motivate and encourage your team to realize their full potential and objectives.

Educated to Degree level with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing customer service or sales operations teams. You possess excellent managerial and inter-personal skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with a variety of teams across functions. You have demonstrated skills in developing department processes and standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to adapt communication style to address carious backgrounds and cultures.
