Peak Scientific Instruments is a fast–growing company specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market.  We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a  Sales Support Specialist where you will  work as part of a team, supporting customers and sales representatives based in our office in Billerica, MA.

Peak Inc. is the rapidly expanding North American arm of Peak Scientific, with its main US office located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and plans for significant further growth over the next few years. You would be joining a North American team of around 80 staff, reporting to the Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will be working with a team of Sales Support Specialists supporting the work conducted by Territory Managers and Service Sales Territory Managers, as well as assisting our customers.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing quotes for the sale of generators and service contracts, along with the other Sales Support Specialists
  • Maintaining accurate customer information in the CRM system, adding new contacts, and updating when necessary
  • Monitoring bid website and working with sales representatives to prepare proposals
  • Working with the Business Analyst to ensure generator and service contract purchase order intake is accurately reported and that there are no discrepancies between the Sales Tracker and SAP Business One report
  • Supporting marketing tasks such as collating materials for trade shows, distributing marketing materials to the salespeople and uploading customer leads to the CRM

Skills & Experience:

  • An enthusiastic, proactive approach with a professional nature; you will have the ability to learn quickly and work timeously with a willingness to take responsibility and ownership of multiple tasks 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work in a team and to build strong professional relationships at all levels 
  • Great self-motivation, with exceptional time management skills along with the ability to properly prioritize tasks
  • Enthusiastic and proactive mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), a working knowledge of SAP and/or CRM is desirable
