An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Functional Lead to join our growing HQ in Inchinnan. Reporting to our Applications Manager you will have global responsibility for the SAP S/4 Hana platform. This will include full responsibility for system support, software development, change management, administration of maintenance windows and user training. You will also have responsibility for testing and documentation in line with the SDLC and defined set of operational standards. You will play a key business focussed role within the IT team and develop strong relationships with Engineering, Production, Finance, Sales & Service.
Support the management of the Peak global ERP application through structured helpdesk processes, maintaining case records, completing required system management documentation.
Develop and deliver regular communications and release notes in relation to system changes including planned and unplanned outages.
Establish and administer the Global ERP Change Advisory Board (CAB) who will be responsible for the ongoing change and evolution of the ERP system within Peak.
Develop the ERP software in line with business specifications and software development standards.
Develop associated 3rd party peripheral software and processes in line with business requirements where required.
Offer consultation and business analysis input to complex ERP issues offering a full resolution service.
Act as the custodian of the ERP system developing and delivering training and support globally.
Develop training material and release notes in line with system change processes.
Train new/ existing users during various phases of development and implementation including ongoing training and support of the system
Work closely with the Global CRM Systems Manager ensuring that the master data held within the Global ERP remains up to date and synchronised with the Global CRM Sales and Service suite (SAP Cloud for Customer).
Other key requirements include:
Robust experience as an ERP Systems Manager/Trainer or Senior System Administrator within a fast paced global manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of ERP, finance and manufacturing business practices.
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and professional software development standards.
Experience of operating and supporting commercial enterprise grade ERP applications.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP products.
