Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, this is a key role in providing our employees with second and third level support and services, whilst ensuring that agreed service levels are achieved. You will work to standards and processes to meet and/or exceed customer expectations as deemed by the IT Infrastructure Manager.
Your duties will include:
- Administrating and maintaining Azure and Office365 environment
- Maintaining the global network and associated equipment such as switches and firewalls
- Providing support for SAP B1
- Pro-actively maintaining security, back up and redundancy strategies
- Testing and evaluating new technology and identifying where such technologies could improve performance
- Fulfilling service requests and incidents in a timely manner whilst adhering to processes and escalating when required
- Installing , configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Liaising with clients to obtain clarity around faults reported and provide technical guidance where required
- Project managing IT infrastructure projects and support to team members when required
Ideally you will have previous experience of the following:
- Microsoft Azure – virtual machines, VNETs, VPN, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Active Directory
- Office 365 E3
- VMWare virtualisation environment
- ARC backup server
- Windows Server 2012-2019 and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO’s
- Linux Server (SUSE Enterprise preferred)
- Cisco Merika cloud managed switches
- Firewalls and VPN connectivity
- Darktrace Antigena, Enterprise Immune System and Cyber AI Analyst
- SAP B1
