As a Software Engineer in our fast-paced technology manufacturing organisation, you will play a critical role in driving the design and development of our new product embedded control systems and will be key in improving quality, functionality and performance through innovative design.
With a passion for technology, you will be responsible for design, code and testing of embedded RTOS software and will play a major part of future innovation in the business, particularly IOT/ Industry 4.0 applications. Confident in working with new technologies and managing internal and external technical teams, you bring experience of people and project management. Experience of working within a fast paced, dynamic and diverse organisation would be beneficial.
Working as part of our Design Engineering Group, you have extensive experience of embedded software and C Programming (embedded software) with knowledge of ARM Cortex M4 and M7 processors. You will be comfortable working in a hands-on capacity whilst providing guidance for other technical teams. Previous experience of scoping projects from conception to product launch would be beneficial.
Additional key duties include:

Ensuring best practice for Hardware and Software revision control

Following defined development processes and providing details of schematic design and simulation.

Writing specifications and technical reports.
Ideally, you will possess:

Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent

PCB layout and manufacturing experience

Experience of working with any managing international sub-contractors

Ability to deliver complex ideas in a clear and concise manner

Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information at board level
