Service Administrator - Glasgow

The Service Administrator is a pivotal role in achieving the smooth running of the EMEA service operation. It requires good organisation skills as well as the ability to deal with customers in a professional and conscientious manner. You will also act as the link between various departments in which it is critical in transferring information whilst ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.

Working alongside the service delivery, sales, order processing, logistics and operation teams you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are receiving the correct spare parts and service visit within their expected time frame.

Your duties will include:

  • Processing maintenance kit orders for shipping to customer site
  • Contacting customers to arrange maintenance visits in a timely manner
  • Updating department scheduler to reflect field maintenance schedule
  • Co-ordinating and organising field service engineer work
  • Dealing with customer service enquiries by telephone, and e-mail in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Raising purchase orders for stock and invoices for service jobs as required
  • General administration tasks and sales order processing

You will get involved in a variety of administrative tasks and be comfortable using Microsoft Office. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of using SAP B1, but more importantly, you’ll have a positive can-do approach with the aptitude to learn.

You will also possess:

  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Understanding of geographical locations, times, and distances
  • Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision
